ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Toronto Folk Festival is a three-day, annual, grassroots music and arts festival held on the Toronto Islands on the third weekend of August. The festival features a lineup that speaks to the diversity of the arts in Toronto and celebrates the arts community that exists on the island, in the city, and across Canada.
In 3 years the festival has grown sustainably in every capacity. We've grown from 1 stage to 3 stages, from booking 11 artists to 51 this year, and almost doubling the audience size each year.
