
The Toronto Folk Festival is a grassroots, artist led, community registered not-for-profit festival. The 2025 festival will take place August 23rd & 24th on Wards Island at the WIA Pavilion located at 20 Withrow St.

Bikes, strollers, dogs and (small) wagons are free (please note, the City of Toronto has issued a by-law that any e-scooter, any motorcycle and E-bikes over 40 kg are not permitted on the Toronto Islands).

You can pay by cash, debit or credit at the dock when you arrive. Please note, that the special Folk Festival discount price cannot be purchased online but can only be purchased at one of the two Pirate Taxi docks. To receive the discounted ticket price, passengers must show their Folk Festival Eventbrite ticket.
235 Queens Quay West, on the boardwalk
The Harbourfront dock is on the boardwalk, right by the water, just west of York Street, right beside the big, black sailboat called Kajama. By TTC, eastbound and westbound, the stops are right beside the Harbourfront Terminal Building (with Farm Boy on the corner). Walk between the Terminal Building and the Power Plant until you reach the water and turn right and you’ll see us.There is underground parking. Our Harbourfront dock is about a 10 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal.
375 Queens Quay West, beside HTO Park West, between Spadina and Rees Street
This dock is between Spadina and Rees Street beside HTO Park West. By TTC, eastbound, the stop is just before Spadina, walk east, past Spadina and cross the street when you reach Shoppers Drug Mart. Westbound, the stop is just east of Spadina, walk east and cross at the Shoppers Drug Mart. You’ll see a big, red fire boat across from our docks. There is plenty of parking at Queens Quay and Rees.
